Back in February I announced that I had made a double sale, and that when I had more details I would discuss it further.
Well, I’ve now had official word on that double sale, and the subsequent third piece of the sequence that was under consideration (and has since been bought):
My three-part (hyper violent, anarchist) Asian steampunk fantasy horror sequence, “The Dragons of Heaven and Earth”, constituting the stories “The Thundering Dragon of Heaven”, “The Dragons of Earth and Iron”, and “The Dragon of Subtle Fire”, will run in the June, July, and August volumes of Bruce Bethke’s Stupefying Stories anthology series.
The anthology is released in electronic format only, so you’ll need to pick up a copy online when it’s released, which won’t exactly set you back much since the volumes are quite inexpensive. And while I don’t have any information on who I’ll be sharing ToC space with yet, Stupefying Stories works with some excellent authors – Trent Zelazny and Anatoly Belilovsky among others – so I look forward immensely to seeing the final ToCs for those volumes of the series.
And, of course, “The Dragons of Heaven and Earth” does tie into something larger, as well.
But that’s a story for another time
