There’s going to be an online launch for Chilling Tales 2 on November 13th (starting at noon) over at Bitten By Books. Mike Kelly (who edited CT2) has put the relevant information best, so I’m just going to cheat, momentarily, and quote him on this:
This Wednesday, starting at noon, we will be having an online launch for Chilling Tales: In Words, Alas, Drown I, hosted by Bitten by Books. If you drop by, you could win a $50 Amazon gift certificate. So drop in and chat with me and the authors. You can RSVP here: http://bittenbybooks.com/?p=66049
I plan to try dropping by at about 1 pm (EST). I’m familiar with the concept of an online book launch, but I don’t think I’ve participated in one like this. Though I did take part in the online Twitter chat Silvia Moreno-Garcia arranged for Future Lovecraft way back when. And the Google Hangout/video chat for Claude Lalumière and Camille Alexa‘s Masked Mosaic, along with Margaret Curelas, Silvia, and Mark Shainblum. Those were quite fun, and I expect this will be as well.
Also, the reading period for the 2014 FoMSSC (Friends of the Merril Short Story Contest) opens in a couple of days (November 15th). Find more info at the link.
And on the 15th I’m going to announce a couple of editorial projects I’ve got in the works. I’ll post more information on those once the information goes live.
